Shoreline offers opportunities for differentiated education and personalized learning reflecting the competencies in the new BC Curriculum (2016). We recognize and acknowledge the fact that all students and adults have different learning styles and needs. As educational leaders, our commitment is to meet each learner wherever he or she is at. Based on assessments, students may be included in a variety of small group interventions such as numeracy and literacy groups, self regulation and social thinking groups, anxiety and self esteem groups. At Shoreline, we focus on inclusive education and developing skills of empathy and mutual understanding among students. We strive to foster a deep sense of belonging and community within our building as we support one another in our learning journeys.
