About Us

École Shoreline Community Middle School is truly the most amazing school!   Dual track, offering both English and early and late French immersion, Shoreline offers the students in the Esquimalt Family of Schools the very best in academic excellence and support, a fantastic fine arts program, a range of exploratories, clubs, sports and the very best in student focused learning.

Currently, we are enrolling 375 students.  Approximately 20% of our student body are of First Nations ancestry, and 50% are French immersion.  Bordering the three municipalities of Esquimalt, Saanich and View Royal, we take the word “community” very seriously.  We offer a full range of youth programs and community education programs and we work closely with a variety of community partners in the areas of sports, recreation and culture.  We are fortunate enough to have several hundred community members, staff, youth and volunteers in our building working together every day!

We welcome you to join us at this safe, caring, supportive and community-minded middle school, nestled between forest and sea.  You are always welcome to drop by the school to see what we have to offer, or to contact us through this website.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
